
Bianca Garcia
Bianca A. Garcia joined Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman & Wenzel as an associate in 2023, where her practice focuses on public entity defense, including cities, counties, and police departments in complex litigation matters involving civil rights, tort liability, and dangerous condition of public property. Ms. Garcia dedicates herself to zealously defending her clients to always achieve the best possible legal outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as in-house counsel for a prominent real estate developer and associate focused on municipality defense at a boutique insurance law firm in San Jose, California. Ms. Garcia has conducted two bench trials and second chaired one OIS jury trial to verdict. She has represented various clients, from individuals and municipalities to large corporations, and is no stranger to high-exposure matters, fierce negotiations, and dynamic landscapes.
Ms. Garcia graduated from Santa Clara University in 2015, earning a BS in Political Science before obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Ms. Garcia competed on the internal and external Trial Team and served on the executive board. In addition, she completed a fellowship with the Panetta Institute of Public Policy, a certified legal internship with the City of San Jose City Attorney’s Office, and served as a student associate for two legal clinics: the Entrepreneur’s Law Clinic and Katherine & George Alexander Community Law Center.
Ms. Garcia has been an active State Bar of California member since 2021 and is admitted to the Federal District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
Outside of work, she is very active in her community. Ms. Garcia is the President of the Santa Clara County La Raza Lawyer’s Association and sits on the boards of the La Raza Lawyers Charitable Foundation and Santa Clara County Bar Board of Trustees.
