Charles King joined Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman & Wenzel as an associate in 2019, where he focuses his practice on cases involving employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination, as well as civil torts, including defamation, dangerous condition of public property, and negligence. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a defense firm specializing in workers’ compensation.
In 2015, Mr. King earned a BS in Economics and a BA in Political Science from Santa Clara University. Mr. King earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2018. While in law school, Mr. King received a CALI Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and was a member of Moot Court Honor Board, the Pro-Bono Honors Society, and the Students for Labor and Employment Justice. In addition, he completed externships with the Unemployment Law Project, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Department of Labor and Industries at the Seattle City Attorney’s office. Mr. King also served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Weiner at the Superior Court of California, County of San Mateo.
Mr. King has been an active member of the State Bar of California since 2018.
