Mika J. Frisk

Mika Frisk rejoined Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman & Wenzel as an associate in 2020, where she previously worked from 2017 to 2018. Her current practice is focused on the defense of public entities in the areas of employment, dangerous condition of public property, and civil rights matters.

 

Ms. Frisk has practiced medical malpractice law, governmental entity defense, and general civil litigation in the past. Most recently, she practiced at a busy general civil litigation firm in the Bay Area, representing several Bay Area Housing Authorities, trucking companies, commercial entities, and individuals in a wide array of high-exposure civil cases.  

 

In 2011, Ms. Frisk graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earning her BA in Legal Studies. From 2010 to 2011, Ms. Frisk, who speaks fluent Japanese, attended Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, as an international student studying global politics and government. In 2015, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Frisk focused her studies on civil litigation and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mediation Theory & Practice.

 

Ms. Frisk has been an active member of the State Bar of California since 2015. She is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and in the U.S. District Courts of the Northern and Eastern Districts.
